Travel has always been a passion of mine. I built The Excursionist blog to not only document some of my travels, but to function as a creative outlet to gather my thoughts and feature some of my photography.
I’ve never blogged about my work before. My writing has always been about other subjects. With a blog included in my portfolio site, hopefully I’ll be able to write about more than just my experiences.
Even though I’m not a professional photographer, photography is a huge part of what I do. Over the years I’ve become very skilled in Photoshop from my experiences of manipulating photographs in my design work. I also keep my DSLR close and venture out to capture what I see on a regular basis.
