During one of our numerous family vacations to the Western U.S., my mother once asked me why I never took pictures of people. To this day I still don’t fully know why, other than I just find nature incredibly compelling. So it makes sense that of all types of photography, landscape photography has always been my favorite. Another reason could be that our family vacations were always spent in beautiful locations and National Parks. I consider those vacations some of the greatest gifts that my parents ever gave me, and to this day, my National Park annual pass gets a lot of use.
This past year, in September, I took my first trip to Yosemite National Park with my first DSLR. Here are a few of the shots I took on that trip.
