I’ve toyed with WordPress before, but this was the first time that I built my own theme from the ground up. It was very frustrating at times, but in the end, I have to say that I really enjoyed the entire process more than any other site that I’ve built. I did everything for this site: the conceptualization, the coding, and the content. I’d already had a lot of experience with CSS and HTML, but now I can say that I know quite a bit about WordPress and enough PHP to get me into trouble.
