My primary responsibility as a designer with Ameriquest was to design the annual site for Ameriquest Racing. I not only learned a lot about NASCAR and racing, but I was also given a lot of freedom and creative control during my time there. This site was created for the 2007 team and is still one of my favorites.
I designed everything from the initial concepts and mockups, and built out the initial HTML pages before handing them off to production.
I built the main navigation and several embedded modules throughout different pages all in Flash. At that time, everything was coded in ActionScript 2, but it was really the first time that I was able to apply what I had learned in AS2 classes that I had taken.
