In an interview with 9 News out of Denver, Ted Haggard implied that he isn't anti-gay. He also said he didn't consider himself a hateful person.
"When we deal with anybody that deals with anything, whether it's any form of immorality or a habit or uh...uh... a struggle in their mind or emotions or whatever - it's human frailty. And so... umm... so (long pause)... I think you would have a very difficult time finding any quotes from me saying negative things about people that are... uh... dealing with issues. My whole message is how to help people live a better life in the midst of all our imperfections."
Hmmm. Don't quote me here, Mr. Haggard, but I believe that one reason why people such as myself think that people like you are self-righteous bitches is because you equate homosexuality with immorality, bad habits and human frailty. Capeesh, bitchface?
And speaking of that face, is anyone else noticing the Paul Lynde similarity?? I don't mean to insult Mr. Lynde because he was fabulous - but how can you not notice the gayface on Haggard?
Of course, all of the coverage about Mr. Haggard, his hustler and his meth use is based only on allegations. But I'm praying for proof of the submissive-meth-smoking-slave-boy-in-a-sling wearing-tit-clamps sort of stuff. You know... the really "immoral" stuff. That, combined with his connection to George W. Bush as an advisor or sorts, would be the best October Surprise EVER!
And speaking of the GOP, it looks like they've also been taking donations from gay porn producers. The production company Active Duty, has been making movies starring actual active duty soldiers.
So - just to make sure I'm getting things right here - you can't make a botched joke that seemingly exploits the troops? But you can exploit the troops by accepting donations from a porn company that exploits them?
How soon you think we'll get an apology from this one?

Now he's admitted to buying some tina, but throwing it away. He has also admitted to getting a massage from a prostitute... but not having sex. All this comes after he said in the video linked above that he doesn't even know the prostitute and has never done drugs.
